Mountain State University and City of Mooresville Partner for Success

Mooresville, NC- Mountain State University and the city of Mooresville are partnering to create greater educational opportunities for city residents. MSU President Charles Polk and Mooresville Mayor Bill Thunberg signed a memorandum of understanding that supports the mutual goals of the town and university in making higher education accessible and affordable.

MSU President Charles H. Polk said, “Mountain State University is proud to partner with the city of Mooresville. We believe by working together we can provide students with the knowledge and skills to compete in the twenty-first century job market. Together, we can create new opportunities for people in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina.”

MSU opened its Mooresville campus in May. The campus is located at Catalina Bay in Lake Norman at 517 Alcove Road. The campus offers a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Master of Science in Strategic Leadership.  The leadership degree programs are designed to be flexible and affordable for working adult students.  The programs can be completed in the classroom or online in as little as 18 months.
